Daniel Enslin

Daniel Enslin has worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Formitable since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Ohpen from 2021. From 2012 to 2011, they worked at Inviqa as a Senior QA Analyst and QA Analyst. During this time, their responsibilities included refining user stories, acceptance criteria and key examples, performing exploratory testing, leading bug reviews and agile ceremonies, and participating in bug reviews. From 2011 to 2008, they worked at Stylistpick as a QA & Release Engineer, where their responsibilities included defining acceptance criteria, pairing with developers to test new features, regression testing pre-deployment and smoke testing after live releases, conducting UAT with stakeholders, leading demos and training with users, and managing merges to master and deployment to staging and live servers. Finally, from 2008 to 2011, they worked at Playphone as a QA Analyst, where their responsibilities were split between QA and DBA support roles. Their QA duties included feature testing new locales and features on features phones, as well as regression testing after major platform updates. Their DBA role involved monitoring daily automated billing runs for issues, liaising with developers to solve issues before rerunning billing, and delivering reports to stakeholders using the designated BI platform, SAS.

Daniel Enslin obtained their Masters of Engineering in Information Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2007. Daniel had previously obtained their Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university in 2005. In 2018, they received the Lean Kanban Foundation certification from Inviqa. In 2012, they received the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
