Alec Rudd

Alec Rudd is an Engineering Leader at Formlabs, where they manage hardware development for next-generation SLA printers. Previously, Alec held various engineering roles at Formlabs, including serving as the SLA Print Process Manager and Systems and Test Engineering Team Lead, overseeing critical technology development and team leadership. They began their career as a Robotics Engineering Intern at Vecna Technologies and have also contributed to community outreach as an Engineering Ambassador at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Alec's experience spans from prototype development to hardware integration, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing 3D printing technology.
