Sharon Soong currently serves as the Head of Materials R&D at Formlabs, leading a diverse and talented team dedicated to advancing applications in 3D printing since September 2017. Previously, Sharon held various roles at Rogers Corporation from August 2007 to September 2017, including R&D Manager and Principal Development Engineer. Academic experience includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on polymer nano-composite systems, as well as consulting roles at Cargill and Novartis. Sharon also holds a Master’s Degree in Innovation Management from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and has completed a Master's in Chemical Engineering Practice at MIT. Sharon's educational foundation began with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
