Travis Busbee

Travis Busbee is currently completing a PhD in Materials Science & Mechanical Engineering at Harvard, with a defense scheduled for August 2025. Their research focuses on 3D printing of bioelectronic devices and advanced polymer engineering. Previously, Travis co-founded and led Voxel8, a multi-material 3D printing startup, for over seven years, resulting in its acquisition by Kornit Digital in 2021, where they served as Director of Additive Manufacturing Textiles for two years. Their extensive background includes roles as a Biological Science Technician at the Air Force Research Laboratory and a graduate student at Harvard, alongside their current position as a Materials Scientist IV at Formlabs.
