Why Formos exists: Most organizations know they have gaps in their forestry supply chains, i.e., missing documentation, unverified supplier claims, unclear chain-of-custody controls. But they don't know how big the gaps are, where to start, or what evidence will actually satisfy external auditors.

That's where Formos comes in.

What we do differently: We don't just identify problems - we prioritize them. Our assessments focus on what matters most: high-risk areas, evidence that's missing, and controls that need strengthening. Every finding is tied to evidence, every gap gets a corrective action, and every report is written to be useful, not just comprehensive.

Who we work with: Forestry operations preparing for SFI or PEFC certification. Biomass suppliers navigating EUDR compliance or SBP certification. Organizations that need supplier verification and don't have internal audit capacity. Companies approaching regulatory deadlines and running out of time.

How we work: We start with clear scope and objectives. We review documents, conduct field visits (as needed), interview teams, and verify traceability claims. We deliver prioritized findings with actionable corrective actions - and optional follow-up verification to confirm closure.

Formos is independent: we don’t issue third-party certificates, but we can help you get audit-ready with strong evidence.

Led by expertise you can trust: Formos is led by Parag Kadam, Ph.D., a forestry and supply-chain specialist with deep field experience and current training credentials in ISO 9001/14001 Lead Auditing, PEFC CoC + EUDR, and SBP biomass verification.

The outcome: Organizations that work with Formos gain confidence in their supply chains, reduce risk, and approach third-party assessments prepared. They stop guessing what auditors want and start building evidence packages that hold up under scrutiny.
