Cate Renner

Cate Renner is a seasoned data science professional with experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. At CEXEC, Inc. from December 2016 to May 2018, Cate worked as a Computational Modeler, focusing on data analysis using R and creating dynamic reports with Google App Script. Subsequently, Cate joined Northwestern Mutual in June 2018, where progression included roles as Associate Data Scientist, Data Scientist, and ultimately Senior Data Scientist, leading projects such as the Recession Risk model and automating compliance review tools. Currently, Cate serves as a Senior Data Scientist at ForMotiv since November 2024. Cate holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Rochester Institute of Technology (2020-2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (2014-2018).
