Ryan Wasson has been in the software engineering field since 2009. Ryan began their career as a Research Assistant at Drexel University's STAR program, where they designed a computer simulation using C++. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they contributed software skills to a team of engineers performing readiness testing for the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapon System. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant at Drexel University's Mathematics and Physics Departments, where they worked on open problems in matrix analysis and linear algebra, and conducted testing of photomultiplier tubes for the Long Baseline Neutrino Experiment. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Implementation Consultant at Planisware, where they provided technical solutions using Planisware's portfolio management software to various clients. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at KX, where they designed and developed responsive, reusable Angular components for the cloud-based web app KX Insights while optimizing the user experience of its data workflow. Ryan is currently a Senior Software Engineer at ForMotiv.

Ryan Wasson received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics (double major) from Drexel University in 2013 and a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Penn State University in 2015.
