Brian Johns

Brian Johns has a long and varied work experience. Brian began their career as a National Team Member and Athlete Representative for Swimming Canada in 1998. In 2006, they took on the role of Athlete Representative for KidSport Vancouver. In 2007, they became an Assistant Manager for UBC Swimming, a Coach/Manager for Tom Johnson Swim Camps and a Coach for the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club. In 2008, they continued to work as a Coach for the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club. In 2010, they took on the role of Sport Intern for the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific. In 2012, they became an Assistant Swim Coach for the UBC Thunderbirds. In 2016, they took on the role of Director of Swimming/Head Coach for the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club. In 2022, they became the Head of Coaching Science for FORM and a Teaching Assistant for Data Science at BrainStation.

Brian Johns, OLY received a Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from The University of British Columbia in 2009. Brian then went on to receive a Master's degree in Coaching Science from The University of British Columbia in 2013. In 2022, Brian Johns, OLY completed a Diploma in Data Science from BrainStation.
