Scott Dickens has over 17 years of professional experience in business development, product content and experience, field sales and events, strategic partnerships, and coaching.
Scott began their professional career in 2003 as an Athlete with Swimming Canada. In 2008, they became a Masters Swim Coach at the Terminal City Club. From 2010 to 2015, they worked with RBC as an RBC Olympian and Manager of Business Development, Direct Investing. During this time, they were responsible for analyzing regional economic and local market conditions and identifying priority market level opportunities. In 2014, they became a Specialty Portfolio Manager at Labatt Breweries of Canada, where they were personally accountable for acquiring new business and managing existing customers.
In 2018, Scott joined RBC InvestEase as a Regional Business Development Manager. In 2019, they joined FORM as the Director of Business Development, Director of Product Content & Experience, Director of Field Sales & Events, and Director of Strategic Partnerships, OLY. In this role, they were responsible for creating the vision and leading the development/creation of all Product content, ensuring that all content is on strategy, meets the standards for quality of experience, and aligns with the foundation of easy-to-follow, engaging, and effective. Scott was also responsible for hiring and managing external coaches, as well as internal staff creating Product content.
In addition, Scott has been a Coach at Tom Johnson Swim Camps since 2010.
Scott Dickens obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of British Columbia between 2004 and 2010. Scott then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Management of Technology from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they have obtained the OLY certification from the World Olympians Association in November 2017, the Personal Financial Services Advice (PFSA) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in July 2016, the INVESTMENT REPRESENTATIVE TRAINING PROGRAM (IRT) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in August 2015, the CONDUCT AND PRACTICES HANDBOOK COURSE (CPH) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in July 2015, the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in January 2014, and the Certificate in Financial Services Advice from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
