Russell Tree

Russell Tree is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in broadcast and media distribution. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Media Distribution at Formula 1 since July 2018, Russell plays a key role in transitioning to hybrid remote solutions and overseeing the design and operation of the F1 MCR facility. Previously, Russell held positions including Senior Engineer/Team Leader at Scripps Networks Interactive, Director at RTBE Services Ltd, and Distribution Engineer at Globecast, where involvement in major events such as the Olympic Games was notable. Russell's career began at Arqiva as a Junior Broadcast Engineer and includes significant experience in broadcast systems from prior roles at BBC News and Formula 1.
