Tom Herne

Tom Herne has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Lead Counsel, Commercial at Formula 1 since March 2013, and previously holding roles as Senior Counsel and Legal Counsel within the same organization. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Trainee Solicitor at Olswang from March 2011 to March 2013, gaining experience in various departments including Media, Communications and Technology, Corporate, Real Estate, and Commercial Litigation. A significant aspect of the training included a commercial secondment at Direct Wines, where commercial contract negotiation and regulatory advisory work were undertaken. Tom holds a Legal Practice Course and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, as well as a 2:1 degree in History with Economics from the University of York. Education was completed at Bristol Grammar School.
