Ju Zhang

Founder & CEO at Formus Labs

Ju Zhang is the current Founder and CEO of Formus Labs. Ju has an extensive background in research and software development, with a focus on musculoskeletal modelling and image analysis. Ju completed their PhD at the University of Auckland in 2013, and their postdoctoral fellowship at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute from 2013 to 2014. Ju was also a visiting researcher at Imperial College London from July 2014 to October 2014. In July 2016, Ju became an OpenSim Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, where they developed and validated software to generate patient-specific OpenSim models.

Ju Zhang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Auckland. Ju also earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with First Class Honours in the same field from The University of Auckland.
