The Formway brand was originally founded in 1987 by Luigi Finizio, where it has grown from a supplier of electrical meters to utilities in New Zealand, to a leading provider of turnkey meter supply and installation services across Australia.

Over the years Formway has leveraged off its metering expertise and diversified its services to also provide utilities with a full range of network customer services. These services include response and rectification of faults, emergency service response, as well as service connection and disconnection.
