Mike Smart

Mike Smart is the Principal Strategy Director at forpeople, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as Head of Strategy at forpeople from 2016 to 2022 and held roles as a Senior Design Strategist and Project Manager within the same company. Their experience also includes working as a Service Designer at Options UK and a Design Strategist at the Design Council from 2008 to 2013. Mike began their career with an internship as a Junior Planner at Plan in 2006. They hold a BA Hons 1st class in Design for Industry from Northumbria University, which they completed in 2008.
