Forsey and Son Funeral Directors and Memorial Masons is a fourth-generation independent family business proudly serving communities across Somerset since 1946.

For more than 75 years, we have supported families through some of life’s most difficult moments with compassion, professionalism and genuine care. Today, we continue to combine traditional values with a modern, personal approach to funeral directing.

We understand that every life is unique, and every farewell should be too. Our experienced team works closely with families to create meaningful services that reflect the wishes, beliefs and personality of their loved one — whether traditional, contemporary or completely bespoke.

From our locations across Somerset, including Glastonbury, Somerton, Butleigh and Cranmore, we provide a caring 24-hour service, offering guidance and reassurance every step of the way.

As proud members of both SAIF and the NAFD, we are committed to maintaining the highest professional standards while remaining approachable, flexible and community-focused in everything we do.

At the heart of our business is a simple belief: our family looking after your family.
