Guy Johnson

Guy Johnson is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Adviser at Forsyth Barr since October 2017, a New Zealand-owned firm providing comprehensive investment and wealth management services. Prior to this role, Guy Johnson worked at Rosenthal Collins Group as a Proprietary Trader from December 2008 to August 2017, and at Bear Stearns & Co. where Guy Johnson held multiple titles including Managing Director of the US Treasury Trading Desk and Managing Director of the Interest Rate Trading Desk from March 1998 to March 2008. Earlier experiences include a summer internship at First NZ Capital in 1996 and another at Buddle Findlay in 1995. Guy Johnson holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Otago, completed in 1997, and attended Auckland Grammar School from 1989 to 1992.
