Forsyth Lodge is an eco-lodge in the buffer area of Satpura Tiger Reserve. Our naturalists curate guided experiences and create memories that bring guests back for more. From exploring varied habitats for leopards, bears, tigers and antelopes to discovering over 360 species of birds across different seasons and even counting tree species, these naturalists help you uncover the secrets of this lesser known tiger reserve. We welcome visitors and delight in showing them the natural world around us. 

Satpura Tiger Reserve has created a unique eco-tourism model taking advantage of its varied landscape. The landscape offers visitors many ways to explore the jungle: non-motorised activities like boats on the Denwa river, walks in the core and buffer zones, camping and even cycling in the buffer areas. These activities allow visitors to experience Satpura’s diverse jungle and landscape and experience its beauty in multiple ways that can satiate the curious and the thrill seeker alike.

Forsyth Lodge is engaged with the park management and the local community in a pioneering effort to create an unprecedented jungle experience in one of the most exciting tiger habitats in the world. This is an effort to create an exceptional wilderness experience for those who truly revel in wild places far from the jeep borne hordes that populate so many other parks. You can also experience the nocturnal creatures that the jungles offer by sitting in our machaan which is set in the 44 acres of wilderness around the lodge. We are ranked #1 on TripAdvisor for Satpura, are in the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame having achieved the Certificate of Excellence consistently since 2015, have previously been ranked 2nd in a survey by Conde Nast traveller in the top 30 eco destinations in India and have also been awarded for our outstanding performance by TOFT.
