Kenneth Mize

Kenneth Mize has a strong background in cybersecurity and has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Kenneth started their career with the United States Air Force as a Senior Incident Response Analyst, where they successfully decreased the number of cyber-attacks through proactive threat identification and mitigation.

After leaving the Air Force, Kenneth joined KCO Consulting as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant. Here, they implemented a comprehensive security awareness program that resulted in significant cost savings. Kenneth also strengthened network security through the deployment of encryption protocols and network management tools, reducing vulnerability exposure.

Following their time at KCO Consulting, Kenneth became a Senior Cybersecurity Manager at Rock Creek Cattle Company. During their tenure, they implemented a patch management process and a risk ranking system that improved network security.

Kenneth's next role was as a Senior Security Engineer at Koandah, where they focused on strengthening critical security measures, enhancing network security through robust configurations, and implementing user privilege management.

Most recently, Kenneth worked as a Security Analyst at Baxter Clewis Cybersecurity. Here, they performed security assessments and served as an Internal Security Assessor for clients, ensuring adherence to security policies and enhancing incident response capabilities.

Kenneth's most recent position is with Fortellar as a Vulnerability Management Specialist.

Kenneth Mize completed their education in Information Technology through various institutions. In 2021, they attended MyComputerCareer and studied Information Technology, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree. In April 2022, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology & IT Management from Western Governors University, starting in 2023 and finishing in 2024. During the course of their education, Kenneth also obtained additional certifications, including the Microsoft Technology Associate: Security Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft in August 2021, the Cyber Security Assurance Specialist certification from Baxter Clewis Cybersecurity in April 2023, the Vulnerability Management certification from Qualys in May 2023, and the Cybersecurity Foundations: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) certification from LinkedIn in June 2023.
