Marc Budd is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Forterra since October 2025, Marc previously worked at QinetiQ US as a Mechanical Engineer in the Advanced Robotics & Mission Solutions Division from August 2022 to October 2025. Earlier experience includes a position as a Test Engineer (Mechanical Engineer II) at Collins Aerospace within the Power Transmission Systems Division, and as a Test Engineer (Mechanical Engineer I) at Specter Aerospace. Marc’s career began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at FGC Plasma Solutions and further includes an internship at Schneider Electric focusing on building solutions. Marc holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Merrimack College, completed in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Marc also has supervisory experience from working with the Lynnfield Department of Public Works from 2013 to 2017.
