Michael Mallard

Michael Mallard serves as the International Growth Lead at Forterra since September 2025, following a diverse career primarily in military and strategic roles. As a Colonel and Foreign Area Officer in the US Army since April 2004, Michael has deployed in multiple regions, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. Previous positions include Director of International Product Sales at BlueHalo, where Michael achieved record international sales, and roles as Strategic Advisor and Founder at Volpe International LLC and Senior Fellow for Global Policy at The Summit Group DC. Additional experience encompasses serving as Army Attaché at the U.S. Department of State and NATO Engagements Officer at U.S. European Command, where strategic relationships with various partners were established to counter geopolitical threats. Michael's education includes a BS in Business Management and an MBA in Banking and Finance, alongside numerous military training programs.
