Ryan Moss

Ryan Moss is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Forterra, specializing in the design of research and production hardware for autonomous vehicles, including the integration of autonomy kits and development of multi-platform hardware. Previously, Ryan served as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at QinetiQ US, focusing on the rapid development of prototype and production hardware for over-ground unmanned systems. Prior experience includes a role at GE Aviation, where Ryan designed flight-worthy rotating hardware, and an internship at the University of Maryland UAS Test Site, where a novel unmanned vehicle capable of automatic reconfiguration between flight and rover modes was developed. An early internship at Bowman Consulting involved CAD operations for residential plans. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2019.
