Stuart Lowe

Stuart Lowe is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in vehicle safety, systems engineering, and project management, specifically in the fields of autonomous and electric vehicles. Currently serving as the Director of Vehicle Safety at Forterra since November 2022, Stuart previously held key positions at notable companies including Argo AI, Uber Advanced Technologies Group, and Infrastructure Victoria, where responsibilities encompassed leading systems safety engineering, functional safety teams, and serving as a subject matter expert in advanced vehicle technologies. Stuart's career began at GM Holden, where significant roles included Vehicle Engineering Operations Manager and Lead Vehicle Architecture Engineer, among others. Stuart holds a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Diploma of Leadership and Management from the University of Technology Sydney, and an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an automotive minor from Swinburne University of Technology.
