Tom Brabers

Tom Brabers is a seasoned professional with expertise in crisis, security, and fraud management in an international context. They co-founded the Centre for Safety and Development and served as Director of Operations from 2004 to 2009, focusing on quality control and security management. As a Global Security Advisor at Oxfam Novib from 2009 to 2013, Tom advised the Board of Directors on risk and fraud management frameworks. Currently, as Chief Security Strategist at Upside of Risk since 2017, they implement security strategies while also educating students as a Teacher in Security & Risk Management at LOI. Tom holds a Master's degree in Public Management and several professional certifications, including Certified Protection Professional and Certified Fraud Examiner.
