Ben Cross

Ben Cross has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Ben began their career in 2016 as a Sailing Instructor at Alpine Elements. From 2016 to 2019, they also co-founded Wax Collective, an electronic music events organization, where they handled marketing, events, social media content creation, and served as treasurer.

In 2019, Ben worked as a Market Data Analyst at Radial Recruitment Ltd, where they focused on gathering, manipulating, and reporting commercial data and insights to identify business opportunities. Ben also gained experience as a Chalet Chef/Host at Alpinebreaks, a luxury chalet company, where they were responsible for managing an 8-person chalet, including meal preparation, cleanliness, and customer service.

In 2015, Ben worked as a Production Assistant at eyevine, a photographic news agency. In this role, they ensured the timely processing and distribution of news images to global newspapers and editorials.

From 2020 to 2022, Ben worked at The Donaldson Trust, initially as a Data Analyst and later as an Executive Assistant and Policy Officer. In these roles, they handled data analysis and provided executive support, including policy-related tasks.

Currently, Ben holds a position at Forth Point | A Blend360 Company as a Client Delivery Assistant Manager, starting in August 2022. In April 2023, they will transition to the role of Client Delivery Manager.

Ben Cross completed their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2015, they attended Forest School, where they obtained A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Physics, French, and an Extended Project Qualification. Following this, from 2015 to 2019, they enrolled at the University of St Andrews, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Additionally, in September 2014, they obtained a certification as an RYA Dinghy Instructor from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
