Simon Bedford

Simon Bedford is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial leadership roles, currently serving as Group Financial Controller at Ibstock PLC since June 2020, overseeing external reporting, governance, internal controls, and performance management for the FTSE250 Group. Prior to Ibstock, Simon held various significant positions at Rolls-Royce from September 2001 to April 2020, including Finance Director Operations (interim), and several financial controller roles across different divisions, focusing on performance management, financial planning, and investment decision-making. Simon holds an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School and is a qualified ACA professional, complemented by a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Durham University.
