Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is an accomplished sales and operations professional with substantial experience in the builders' merchants sector. Currently serving as the Group Sales Director at Ibstock Plc since October 2016, Simon leads the merchant sales team for brick and concrete, overseeing a significant annual sale of 270 million bricks. Simon's prior roles include various leadership positions at Bostik, where responsibilities spanned from National Sales Manager to National Account Manager, managing teams and substantial sales portfolios. Additionally, Simon has experience in product management at Wolseley UK and has held data analysis roles earlier in the career. Beyond professional pursuits, Simon passionately coaches youth football at Lillington Juniors FC Ltd, focusing on skill development and enjoyment in the sport. Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Management Systems from the University of Plymouth.
