Wayne Sheppard

Wayne Sheppard is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the building products industry, highlighted by a successful tenure as Chief Executive Officer at Ibstock PLC, where Ibstock's EBITDA rose from £65 million in 2014 to £120 million in 2017 under leadership. Prior to this role, Wayne led the IPO of Ibstock Building Products Ltd for £770 million in 2015 and served as CEO of Ibstock Building Products after its acquisition by Bain Capital. Previous positions include Managing Director of CRH UK Products and Managing Director of various divisions within CRH Europe, overseeing significant operations across multiple countries and products. Wayne's career also features management roles at Tarmac Building Materials and Redland Roof Tiles, complemented by a solid academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Technology and Production Management from Brunel University.
