Randall Erb is a Professor and Head of the DAPS Lab at Northeastern University in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering since January 2013. In addition to academic responsibilities, Randall is a co-founder of Boston Materials, LLC, Fortify, and Fourier, all established in June 2016 and July 2022, respectively. Prior to Northeastern University, Randall served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Andre Studart's Lab at ETH Zurich from August 2009 to December 2012 and worked as an Electrical Engineer at Washington Group International (now URS Corporation) from June 2004 to June 2005. Randall holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester. Education was completed at Cherry Creek High School from 1996 to 2000.
