Fortin Pipelines exists so slurry and water pipelines perform reliably, not just in theory, but through decades of real-world operation. We eliminate multimillion-dollar surprises that turn ambitious infrastructure into costly liabilities, bridging design excellence with the operational demands of the resources sector.

Our why is simple: leaders building long-distance concentrate, tailings, and water pipelines deserve independent guidance grounded in field truths, not desktop assumptions. Having navigated the full lifecycle pressures - design scrutiny, construction realities, commissioning chaos, operational failures - we turn uncertainty into capital-efficient clarity.

This conviction drives our unique three-pillar approach.

Field-proven engineering judgement: 20+ years of experience across 5,000km of pipeline reveal what truly fails: restartability blockages, accelerated wear, corrosion attacks, and transient shocks. We challenge scopes, de-risk from PFS/DFS/FEED, and steer high-stakes decisions on diameter, velocity, materials, and shutdowns. We design for how pipelines actually operate.

Evidence-led design through testing: Fortin Lab Services delivers precise rheology, particle analysis, chemistry, microbial, restart, and wear data under site conditions, closing standards-to-reality gaps for optimised diameters, fewer pumps, lower opex, and ironclad peer reviews. Better test data in means better pipeline decisions out.

Risk ownership and certainty of outcome: We surface failure modes explicitly, quantify margins consciously, and balance capex-opex-operability across owners and operators. No transferred disclaimers, only visible, manageable risks that endure audits and handover. Our job is not to eliminate risk; it's to make it visible and manageable.

Proven by 100% repeat business with industry leaders like Rio Tinto, Worley, Hawsons Iron, and Ambatovy, we forge enduring advisory partnerships through certainty and reliability.
