Bob W. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and technical sales, currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at Fortinet since December 2019, where key responsibilities include leading sales engagements in the SLED vertical and mentoring a team of systems engineers. Prior to Fortinet, Bob held the position of Senior Manager at Symantec, overseeing technical sales for the Western US and fostering relationships with customers and stakeholders. Bob also served as Senior Director at ISC8, managing worldwide customer engineering, and as Vice President of Technical Services at Bivio Networks, where service strategies were developed for cybersecurity solutions. Earlier roles include Services Marketing Manager at Cisco Systems and various engineering positions at HP. Bob holds an MBA in Marketing from California State University-Sacramento, along with MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering.
