Christopher Blauvelt

Christopher Blauvelt is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in operational technology and critical infrastructure. Currently serving as the Director of Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure for Fortinet since March 2019, Christopher specializes in OT networks, Industrial Control Systems, and SCADA platforms to support sales, marketing, and development efforts. Prior roles include High Voltage Reliability Engineer and High Voltage Operations Manager at EDP Renewables North America, where responsibilities encompassed managing high voltage electrical systems and operations for multiple substations and a wind farm. Christopher's background also includes software development at KDE and service in the US Army, where key roles involved tactical operations and training for Iraqi forces. Christopher holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
