Jim Kun is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Systems Engineer at Fortinet since February 2023, Jim previously held roles at Palo Alto Networks as a Global Systems Engineer for strategic accounts, where expertise included Zero Trust solutions and advanced endpoint security. Prior to that, Jim contributed to Fortinet's success as a Senior Systems Engineer focused on financial services and enterprise solutions. Additional experience includes a Systems Engineer position at Cisco, and earlier roles in network security and sales engineering. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
