Jonas Walker

Jonas Walker serves as the Director of Threat Intelligence for APAC & Middle East at Fortinet's research department, FortiGuard Labs, since August 2016, where responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to protect organizations. Previously held positions at Fortinet include Security Strategist, where expertise in threat intelligence and artificial intelligence was utilized, and System Engineer, focusing on customer security needs and solutions. Early experience includes an internship at Cisco, working with ACI, Software Defined Networks, and data center technologies. Jonas Walker holds degrees from FFHS - Fernfachhochschule Schweiz and HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, along with a computer science apprenticeship from Swisscom.
