Michael Xie

Michael Xie is the Founder, President & CTO of Fortinet, where Michael has been working since 2000. Prior to that, Xie worked as a Software Architect at NetScreen Technologies from 1997 to 1999, and as a Software Designer at Milkyway Networks Corp. from 1996 to 1997. Xie holds a MS degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, obtained between 1994 and 1996, and a MSc degree in engineering from Tsinghua University, completed between 1987 and 1994.
