Nick Petersen

Nick Petersen has extensive experience in the field of information security and systems engineering, currently serving as a Senior Principal Consulting Systems Engineer at Fortinet since March 2013, where previous roles included Principal Engineer and Sr. Systems Engineer. Prior to Fortinet, Nick was the VP of Security Services at Infogressive, Inc. from September 2010 to March 2013, focusing on various aspects of cybersecurity including network and application security, vulnerability assessments, and security policy development. From 1997 to 2010, Nick held multiple positions at Verizon Wireless, culminating as a Senior Information Security Engineer. Nick began a career at The Gallup Organization as an interviewer from January 1994 to July 1996. Educational qualifications include two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, and Business Administration and Management.
