Pat Young

Pat Young is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in networking and security. Currently serving as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Fortinet since December 2018, Pat has previously contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Lone Star College, teaching courses in computer networking and IT security. Pat held leadership roles including Manager of IT Security at Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP, where a focus on developing secure systems was paramount. Additional experience includes significant positions at Cisco as a Lead Analyst in Security, contributing to pre-sales technical roles, and earlier roles such as Senior Network Engineer at Centre Technologies and Network Administrator at NCI Building Systems, where successful project management and infrastructure design were key responsibilities. Pat holds an Associate's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Lone Star College-CyFair.
