Pedro Pinto

Pedro Pinto has extensive experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity, currently serving as a CISO and network administrator at Politécnico da Guarda since October 2005, with responsibilities across various technical services including data communications, Wi-Fi, internal quality assurance systems, and security management. In addition to previous roles, Pedro Pinto is involved in multiple initiatives as a Cisco Instructor at UNITA, a member of the Interreg Espanha-Portugal program, and part of the Portuguese National Cybersecurity Centre. With leadership roles such as President of the Regional College of Computer Engineering and the Guarda Runners Club, along with contributions as an author at Pplware, Pedro Pinto combines a strong educational background, holding multiple degrees in informatics and computer science from the same institution, with active participation in advancing digital security and resilience initiatives.
