Qiuming Lin

Qiuming Lin is an experienced Principal Software Engineer with a strong background in network security and virtualization. Currently at Fortinet since April 2018, Qiuming Lin leads the development of the Fortinet Virtual Network Processor (VNP) utilizing the DPDK framework for deployment across various virtual machine environments. Prior to Fortinet, Qiuming Lin held senior positions at Guardian Digital, Code Green Networks, Dell, Cisco Systems, and Ixia Communications, focusing on data loss prevention, email security, cloud computing solutions, and network infrastructure. Qiuming Lin holds a B.S. in Physics from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Houston.
