William Cooper

William Cooper serves as the Senior Vice President, Legal and Corporate Secretary at Fortinet since October 2017, previously holding roles including Senior Vice President of Litigation and Compliance, Vice President of Litigation and Compliance, and Director of Litigation, Intellectual Property and Privacy. Cooper's legal career includes positions as an attorney at Winston & Strawn and Quinn Emanuel, as well as a summer associate at Quinn Emanuel and an extern for Justice Carlos Moreno at the California Supreme Court. Early career experiences include account executive roles at SF Daily and KMBS, and positions with the Oakland Athletics. William Cooper earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and furthered education at UCLA, with secondary education from SRVHS.
