Wayne Miller

Wayne Miller is the Advisory Board Chair at FortMesa. Wayne has over 25 years of experience in database management and optimization. Wayne has worked as a consultant for Healthfirst and Future Tools and Technology, Inc. (FTT). Wayne has focused on optimizing performance, specifically SQL/Server on Windows (queries, table structures, disk layout, indexes, SSIS), DB2 on the iSeries (queries, indexes), VMware, and SAS (indexes, memory usage, file options). Wayne has also written web services using WCF and helped to plan hardware upgrades for all environments. Wayne has optimized BI workflow for 24+ hour processing cycle (SSAS, SSIS), designed and implemented cubes with user participation. Wayne is a resource to programmers for optimization, DB design issues, and problem solving.
