Thomas Schaefer

Thomas Schaefer is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Director of Application Development for Engineering Tools at FORTNA since July 2023. With a diverse background in engineering management, Thomas has held multiple key positions including Senior Engineering Manager and Project Engineer at Material Handling Systems, Inc. from November 2017 to January 2023, as well as Senior Engineering Manager at FORTNA from July 2022 to January 2023. Prior experience includes leadership roles at AAF International and GE, where Thomas contributed as Engineering Systems and Design Team Lead and Senior Designer. Thomas began a career at GE Power & Water, serving as a Senior Designer and service parts analyst. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Sullivan University, earned between 2006 and 2015.
