Mark Bergman

Mark Bergman is a seasoned digital security expert and ethical hacker, currently serving as a Security Specialist at Fortra since September 2022. In addition to this role, Mark has been a digital security expert and ethical hacker at Outflank since March 2016. As the founder of idefense BV, established in June 2009, Mark specializes in providing tailored security knowledge and solutions for clients. Prior to these roles, Mark founded Bergman.nl BV in May 2008 after gaining extensive experience at ING Bank and KPMG. Mark's expertise includes ethical hacking, internal and external penetration testing, software quality reviews, and IT security auditing. Education includes a degree in IT Auditing from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an engineering degree from Windesheim.
