Johan Soderstrom is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within major corporations and board positions in various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Advisor to the CEO and Executive Team at Hitachi Energy since October 2021, Johan also holds the position of EVP, Head of Regions EMEA. Additionally, Johan is a Non-Executive Board Member at Fortum and Stena Recycling AB, as well as a board member at Business Sweden. Johan previously served as Chairman at Mistra from June 2016 to July 2022 and held various leadership roles at ABB and Hitachi ABB Power Grids, contributing significantly to sales growth and operational leadership in the EMEA region. With a strong academic background, Johan holds honorary doctorates from both Linköping University and Uppsala University, alongside a Master’s degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from Linköping University.
