Jon Hassis is an experienced leader in the Nordic energy industry, specializing in physical power trading and hydropower asset management. Currently, Jon serves as the Director of Physical Markets at Fortum, having previously held roles such as Manager of Physical Trading and Portfolio Management. With a strong background in trading various energy assets and optimizing portfolios, Jon has managed a team of 35 professionals and overseen a production and consumption portfolio of over 50 TWh/a. Jon holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University, along with additional studies in business and economics.
