Marcus Traff

Marcus Traff currently serves as the Senior Corporate Market Risk Manager at Fortum, a position held since December 2022, where responsibilities include acting as Deputy to the Director of Market Risk and leading the management of liquidity risk across the Fortum Group. Traff's experience in market risk management is extensive, with previous roles such as Senior Market Risk Controller and Director of Market Risk (Acting), overseeing PPA risk assessments and internal controls. Prior to joining Fortum, Traff worked at Optiver in various trading roles from 2002 to 2008, including Senior Derivatives Trader and Market Maker. Educationally, Traff holds both BSc and MSc degrees in Business Administration and Financial Management from the University of Gothenburg, along with additional studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Stockholm University, and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
