Mark Millar

Mark Millar is an accomplished product and project management professional with extensive experience in the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as Product Owner at Fortum since May 2023, Mark is dedicated to advancing a sustainable Nordic energy grid and leading the development of the Spring Virtual Power Plant platform. Previously, Mark worked as Senior Product Owner at Centrica, where leadership was provided in transforming a mobile field workforce through the implementation of Microsoft D365 and Power Apps. Mark's career includes significant roles at British Gas, where key contributions involved developing mobile applications and managing field service operations, as well as driving efficiency during organizational restructuring. With a solid technical foundation stemming from early roles in engineering and production, Mark holds an MBA in Business and a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University.
