Tom Backman

Tom Backman is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience at Fortum, beginning in 2000. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Corporate Customers since October 2018, Backman focuses on coaching for success. Prior roles include Director and Manager of B2B Sales, overseeing power sales to large customers in the Nordics, and Development Manager, leading project management in trading and asset optimization. From 2009 to 2018, Backman held various positions at Fortum Markets Oy, including Head of Energy Management and Head of Forecasting and Pricing.
