Yining Hou

Yining Hou has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as an Intraday Trader at Fortum since June 2020. Prior to this role, Yining worked at Uniper Sverige from October 2016 to June 2020 as an Optimization Engineer and Intraday Trader, specializing in energy optimization for hydropower and other power production methods. Experience also includes Elingenjör roles at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Services and Etteplan, focusing on project management and documentation for gas turbines. Earlier positions at ABB and NR Electric involved research on photovoltaic systems and international customer management, respectively. Yining holds a Master of Science in Electric Power Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
