Rob Opitz

Rob Opitz is a seasoned tax partner at Forvis Mazars, where they leverage extensive experience in tax and business consulting for a diverse range of clients, including start-ups and large private companies with international operations. Previously, Rob served as managing partner at Rylander, Clay & Opitz, providing business advisory and accounting services throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. They have also held roles at Price Waterhouse and BKD CPAs & Advisors, specializing in complex partnership arrangements and transactions, particularly in the oil and gas, real estate, and professional service industries. Rob earned a BBA in Accounting and an MS in Taxation from Texas A&M University, as well as completing the Advanced Business Advisor Program at the University of Chicago GSB.
