Thomas Theunen

Thomas Theunen has a diverse work experience starting from 2008, when they worked as a Waiter/Kitchen Aid at Mise en Place. Thomas then worked as a Java Developer at Roots Software during their internship and continued part-time after graduating. After that, Thomas worked as a Developer at MiniTech Reloaded, where they developed apps for Windows Phone and Android. Thomas then became a Commerce Consultant at Fenego, specializing in developing E-Commerce solutions using the Intershop platform. Thomas also served as a Salesforce Administrator and Webmaster at 't Geels Volkstoneel. In 2017, they transitioned to the Salesforce domain, working as a Salesforce Consultant and later as a Solution Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud at Forward. In 2021, they joined Trailhead as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Benelux Community Leader and an Instructor for Architecting B2C Commerce Solutions. Overall, Thomas brings a diverse skill set to their current position as Head of Commerce at Forward.

Thomas Theunen has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics - Application Development from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Thomas also has a Certificate in Raised Puff Pastry from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 2016 to 2017. In addition, Thomas has a Diploma in Informatics Management from Sint Ursula Instituut Lier, earned from 2004 to 2006, and a general education in Commerce from Githo Nijlen, which they completed from 2000 to 2004. Thomas has obtained multiple certifications in various Salesforce specialties, including AI, business analysis, order management, and platform development. Thomas also holds a technical certification from Amplience.
